Manhattan White Epoxy Floor
October 26, 2013

A designer once said that all design begins with the foundation of the floor. The floor can really set the tone for how a space is perceived. When it comes to a modern, open, clean feeling, many designers and property owners opt for white. White brings about a certain calm and makes a space feel bigger then it really is. As a New York City epoxy floor contractor, we have been seeing an increase in the interest for white epoxy floor installations. Decocrete installs epoxy floors in both residential and commercial spaces. However, there are some things to consider when installing a white floor. Namely, it shows everything. From the natural imperfections of the install to dust and dirt from every day use. Adding a satin finish top-coat helps to reduce some of that and makes maintenance a little easier.
However white is of course just one choice when it comes to a seemless epoxy floor. One designer said "Epoxy floors are my favorite! You can even make an epoxy floor resemble marble by drizzling in a reflective additive into a solid cream base coat. The results are stunning! You get the duribility of 100 % solid industrial epoxies and the elegeant look of marble! There are so many decorative concrete options out there when dealing with epoxies. We have seen a huge increase in residential applications when it comes to epoxy floors. No longer are the epoxies being put in just the garage or man cave.”.
Decocrete is an epoxy contractor, self-leveling concrete contractor, concrete overlay contractor and stained concrete contractor serving New York City, Manhattan, Brooklyn, Staten Island and parts of New Jersey such as Hoboken, Jersey City, Newark and Paramus.
